I am honored to serve our community as the Director of
Moscow Movement Arts Center, Co-Director of Bryra Movement Collective, and adjunct dance faculty at the University of Idaho since 2018. Ballet is my first love in this life and it is my great privilege to share it with the next generation of dance-thletes and art-illectuals on the Palouse. My performance history spans various companies as a commissioned soloist, duet, and corps performer as both a permanent and guest artist for over 20 years--including but not limited to performances with Merce Cunningham, Loretta Livingston, Gesel Mason, Nada Diachenko, Mel Wong, Donald McKayle, Israel "El" Gabriel, Architexture Dance Company, Boston Ballet, and the Gilbert Reed Ballet. My original scholarly research investigating the relationship between American visual culture and the "ballet body" of women in American ballet performance was invited for presentation at the Hawaii International Conference in Arts and Humanities and FEM + FEST Feminist Art Festival . Movement research has been presented at the Colorado Dance Education Organization 2015 and the American College Dance Association Northwest Conference in 2019 and 2020. My choreography has been commissioned and featured nationally and internationally in Kyriat Ono and Herzliya Pituach, Israel; Boulder, Longmont, Louisville, Paonia, and Lafayette, Colorado; Templeton, Arroyo Grande, Morro Bay, San Luis Obispo, Irvine, and Santa Cruz, California; Spokane, Washington; and Moscow, Idaho.
